Universal ax XS X series X14

X14 is a compact all-purpose ax that has been balanced and adapted to the body to be easily used with one hand. The innovative ultra-sharp steel head has been designed to split wood more efficiently. The steel has also been double-hardened so that the precision-ground edge stays sharp longer. The adapted blade angle provides simple and clean cuts even in fresh, resinous wood. A friction-reducing coating makes the head slide more easily through the wood, while protecting against rust. The ax head is overcast so that it cannot drop from the shaft. The axes in the X-series™ are almost impossible to break, thanks to the extremely strong and at the same time light FiberComp™ shafts that absorb shocks and provide superb protection against blowback. The shaft is ergonomically designed to keep the wrist in a neutral position and has SoftGrip™ with strategic structure for greater comfort and better grip and control.
